We are now looking for someone to fill a permanent position as an Technical Sales Manager preferably placed in Malmö or Copenhagen and travelling over the Nordic countries approximately 40-80 days per year. Univar is distributing ingredients for the food industry and the Technical Sales Manager will be specifically involved in our customer projects using ingredients from Novozymes (enzymes) and Ingredion (modified starch). We are looking for a food technologist with a commercial sense that will be working with technical support for projects involving our larger customers. You will be reporting to Sales & Marketing Manager Food.

Key Tasks
Support with knowledge in regards to usage of our ingredients.
Cooperate with our customers Product Developers on projects.
Coordinate projects with regional Account and Key account Managers in the Nordics.
Offer internal education with colleagues and external education with customers
Set up presentations together with Product Managers and develop collaboration with customers.
Be up to date on trends within the food industry in Europe and communicate new opportunities for the Nordic market

We Are Looking For
The successful candidate have a degree within engineering or similar, preferably with a focus on food technology. You have 2-5 years previous experience, preferably of working with product development projects. If you previously have been working in projects with customers that is advantageous. You are fluent in English and either Swedish/Norwegian/Danish both written and verbal.
As a person you are social, driven and curios with an ability to prioritize the commercial benefits in your projects. You are pedagogical and can explain complex interactions within the food formulation and processing.
