Duties
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Account Manager to join Distrupol in Malmö. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Director of Distrupol Nordic and will be based in south of Sweden or in the area of Gothenburg, preferably with the ability to work from the Office in Malmö when needed.
Key Responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for maintaining and growing business and build solid relationships with our customers. You will be responsible early in the project phase and also work as an adviser for our customers, regarding selection of materials, drawings etc. Therefore a wide knowledge of plastic materials is essential. You will be expected to make prospective calls in order to develop your territory to bring on new accounts. Other responsibilities will be to identify lost business, plan suitable customer visits and produce forward plans. You will ensure a regular review of all sales prices and manage price trends effectively.
We Are Looking For
We are looking for a candidate who has extensive knowledge of plastic materials and/or processes. You will have a degree in a related subject from university, college or equivalent. It is essential that you have previous experience from a similar role in B2B sales. We regard it as an advantage if you have experience from or knowledge of plastic molding and/or plastic extrusion.
It is essential that you are self-motivated, focused, flexible, good numeracy skills, possess excellent organizational and IT skills, and that you have a track record of delivering results. The ability to recognize what our value proposition is to each customer is vital to ensure, when negotiating with customers, that you can secure the best selling price for the business.
It is essential that you are fluent both in Swedish and in English, both oral and written. You will also have a valid driver's license.
