This position suits you who thrive in an international environment and wants to develop within product management. You have an M.Sc. Degree within Engineering and this is probably your first job after graduation or you have up to one year of experience. You have a technical interest and if you show the will, there are good opportunities to grow within our organization.

As Technical Product Engineer you will provide sales and after sales support to the organization. You are also responsible to maintain and develop the product portfolio and the support systems functionality. The position includes following the products and its quality developments as well as initiate and lead maintenance and extension projects.

As the Tank Gauging system includes several products and functions, teamwork in product management is very important. You will have extensive contact with engineering, operations, quality and sourcing as well as the global sales organization. The job will also include visits to customers and other Emerson sites.

Specific job responsibilities include:

keeping the present products, functions and support systems updated as per market needs coordinate and visualize product certification status support the sales and aftermarket organizations with technical expertise, product questions, certification assistance etc writing base text as input to technical documentation continuously develop and distribute technical bulletins and information regarding identified product issues and experience sharing lead product maintenance activities administer model code masters and validation matrixes select/qualify/standardize our offering for frequently used buy-outs (accessories) keep updated with latest relevant international standards as API, ISO etc
Success in this role requires a customer focused team player with social skills and a solid technical understanding. You are structured and have analytical and technical competence combined with a high drive for results. Knowledge within product management and/or marketing is seen as beneficial.
