We now need to reinforce our Operation support team with a Technical Operations Manager!

Do you want to work with world leading technology for the financial industry? Do you want to be responsible for the Operations of a large financial technical platform at Nasdaq.

Then you should apply for the open position as Technical Operation Manager (TOM) in Stockholm. For this large platform we have two TOM's that together manage the platform, the current TOM will be main responsible and you will support him and take ownership for parts of the areas.
The TOM's most important role is to secure the systems reliability and service fulfillment to the customer. To his help the TOM has a virtual team of experts with broad competences that works in a matrix organization.

The TOM's responsibilities include supervising the day-to-day technical operation of the environment, working closely with other parts of the operations organization such as The Business operations, System surveillance, Application Management, Network and Server Management, to ensure that the uptime, performance and service fulfillment is archived in the best way possible
The TOM is also the main contact between NASDAQ OMX and the Customer market operations in regard to future enhancements, changes in SLA, performance and capacity reviews as well as follows up on technical operational incidents. The TOM is also responsible for preparing and delivering reports, including Incident Reports. As TOM you are also Project manager for smaller projects, coordinating Operations activities and interact with larger delivery projects within the platform.
The key to our success is to have functionally flawless systems, which makes this role one of the most challenging (and exciting) roles within our company

The role also entails responsibilities such as:
Manage the customers' expectations
Deliver according to SLA
Problem management
Manage system changes and smaller projects
Represent the operations in monthly and quarterly meeting with the customer
Follow up on incidents and write incident reports
Create and maintain a yearly plan for the solution's
Present and discuss new operational undertakings
Represent the solution and deliver in weekly change management board (CAB)
Review and approve changes related to the operational environment
Plan and manage changes that does not require dedicated project managers

Education Required: Degree qualified in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline, or equivalent work experience in Data Center, Trading, Computer, or Network Operations.
In order to do all this successfully you must have experience and understanding of how to manage a customer in a professional way and on the other side have a broad technical background and understand the technology! You need to able to coordinate resources, manage smaller project and be capable of acting as a bridge in the discussions between the business perspective of the customer and the complex technology solution you are responsible to operate, you also need to be proficient in motivating and lead a virtual team in a matrix organization

You should have broad technical knowledge and had experience from operational support of crucial systems. Further, you are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and oral.

A strong bonus is if you have:
Previous experience from leading a team and projects
Previous experience from the financial sector
Degree in Engineering, Technology or Computer Science discipline
Have experience of working with ITIL
