Welcome to join our department Designovation in Hillerstorp as our new Technical Illustrator. You get the opportunity to work with a great team of creative Graphic Designers, Industrial Designers and 3D-artist that together makes the design of our products, packaging's as well as our manuals and product pictures.
With a steadily growing product portfolio and to maintain Thule Group in the forefront in the field of graphic design the team has to be strengthened up with a new talented member.
As a Technical Illustrator you will be involved in the development of new products such as equipment for cycling-, water- and winter sports, roof boxes, multi-functional strollers and bags etc.
As a Technical Illustrator you will be responsible for graphic design and design of originals, both for print and digital media. You work closely with industrial designers, other graphic designers / illustrators but you will also be a member in cross-functional project teams when developing products from concept to industrializing.
One of the main tasks as a Technical Illustrator is that you shall develop and execute technical documentation in the shape of printed fitting instructions visually in line with the brand guidelines and with an efficient use of the information at hand.
One key challenge for this position is to help develop methodology for a streamlined workflow and a more efficient use of product information within the organization as well as integrating the 3D software in the daily work of technical documentation.
Your profile:
To be a good match for the job you need to be an creative person with problem solving skills together with the ability to relate to and explain technical solutions.
You are also structured, detail oriented and time efficient as well as you like to work within clear deadlines.
We trust you are without prestige, self-motivated and with a positive attitude and that you thrive in a high speed and team oriented environment.
You have an academical degree in related fields such as engineering or graphic design/illustration together with work experience for print and digital publication.
You have good competence in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop as well as experience working with commonly used 3D software. Fluency in English and Swedish, both in speech and writing, is a requirement.
