hela Sverige Defold is on of our game engines here at King. The Defold team is growing rapidly as well as the usage of the engine and we now need a Technical Community Manager.
Your role within our Kingdom
As Technical Community Manager you are first and foremost responsible for the support and communication with our users - the game developers. Handling and answer all technical questions, ideas and guiding them with potential problems. Secondly, the role also contains a moderating aspect to get the newly started Defold forum going and keep content tidy, fresh and accurate.
By monitoring online feedback channels you will swiftly follow up, interact and respond to potential issues helping users build great games on our engine. You will act as the brand voice of Defold product development team.
This is a very diverse role that needs in-depth technical background since it will require hands-on work and understanding of the engine, its capacity and upcoming features. You will need to know Defold like the back of your hand.
Some bite sized bullet points of the job description are:
• Monitor and moderate conversations in the forum and other online channels to answer and follow-up on any technical questions, ideas or issues that users have.
• Work closely with the development engine team to keep up to date with new features and functionality of the product.
• Report to key stakeholders on type of support errands, conversation trends, content ideas and overall community status.
• Use knowledge of community trends and support issues to impact product roadmap.

• A solid background as a developer, preferably in the games industry
• Experience in customer service, support and/or forum management
• Skills in problem solving, critical thinking and decision making.
• Ability to follow-up and finish customer support issues efficiently
• Ability to re-prioritizations while being adaptable, flexible and persistent.
• Excellent English communication skills

• Experience in social media communication & copywriting for digital channels
• Experience in analytics
