Do you want to work in an international environment in an organisation with a clear pedagogical vision? Are you enthusiastic and passionate about developing an IES school that is expanding? We at Internationella Engelska Skolan Södertälje are seeking a qualified full-time music teacher to join us in our fantastic working environment. The lessons can be taught in Swedish or in English, depending on what language you as a teacher are most comfortable with.

We are looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic, committed, team-player, willing to go the extra mile for students and colleagues. We are expecting our teachers to actively contributes to the positive developments of their departments and year-level teams as to the work environment in general . We as a school strives for excellence and we have an organisation set to achieve that, both academically and socially.

Internationella Engelska Skolan Södertälje is a school for grades 4-9 with just under 500 students and 40 staff. We offer a calm learning environment where teachers can teach and students can learn. We have staff and students from all over the world, bringing diverse knowledge and experience into the school. Included in the work description, aside from common teacher tasks such as planning, teaching, marking and follow-ups, is mentorship for 16 students in Year 5. You have to be available for meetings with parents, students or colleagues and to actively work towards maintaining the IES Ethos and vision. We need a clear classroom management and visible leadership during lessons and an open communication between teacher and students. Focus lies on learning and a calm environment and the schools routines and rules are followed by students and staff alike.

Start date: sa soon as possible.

Full time employment with 6 months probation, individual agreement on salary and we have collective agreement.
