Job description:
We are looking for a talented Process Piping Designer to join our industry leading Plant Design Team within our Food & Pharma business.As a engineer at AF you will work with various Plant Design projects such as concept studies, feasibility studies, P&ID and isometric piping schematics, plant layout and project management in implementation projects. As a natural part of the employment, you will work with sales, marketing and development of the ÅF offer. You will be strongly supported from our cross functional expert teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares and maintains moderately complex to complex engineering drawings using 2D and 3D computer software layouts of conceptual Plant designs.
Detailed P&ID and isometric piping schematics.
Participates in Design Reviews and, where appropriate, organize such reviews.
Ensures acceptable levels of quality and checks for coordination of work to assure documents reflect design intent and necessary coordination.
Develops project drawings using AutoCAD software(s)and maintains a library of project drawings.
Develops and implements standards, policies and procedures for a CAD systems including methods for the management of CAD files relating to the creation, standardization, modification, archival, intra and intersystem transfer and plotting of files.
Assists in all phases of project phases from pre-study to handover of project to customers.
Assists professional engineers in the development of plans and projects, and performs related work as required or assigned.
Who are you?
Requirements:
A Technical or Associate Degree in drafting and/or design from an accredited technical institution or college is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years' experience years of relevant experience from the food and Pharma industry with detailed knowledge of Piping Design and Plant Layout. Alternatively experience from Oil &Gas, process industry or nuclear plants.
Must be able to effectively work within AutoCAD, Plant 3D or PDMSYou enjoy working in a team and have no problem communicating orally and in writing.
Fluent in English and Swedish language is required.
