Stockholm Headhunting har fått i uppdrag att hitta en Senior systemutvecklare till DICE/Frostbite.
DICE is the award-winning developer of the Battlefield franchise and games like Mirror?s Edge. The company with 270 employees is situated in one of the world?s most picturesque cities - Stockholm, Sweden. The studio houses a riot of youth, hunger and passion for creating games. Innovation is part of the DICE DNA, whether it is creating new games or trying out innovative business models. People come to DICE to change our industry and to make unique, addictive and innovative entertainment? ?The Frostbite team at the DICE studio is an independent unit with 30 dedicated developers. We provide state of the art technology to game teams from various genres such as shooting, racing and action. Our team is currently working on the next generation of Frostbite, which will make its debut with Battlefield 3. By collaboration - between disciplines, genres and studios - the Frostbite team is pushing boundaries for what game developers can achieve. With a strong focus on efficient workflows and fast iteration times our innovation?driving outcomes enable game developers to create cutting edge games.
he Frostbite team is now looking for an experienced developer who will focus on pushing the boundaries with our state-of-the-art production and deployment backend services. The successful applicant will work alongside senior developers to continue development of a range of supporting technologies including custom NOSQL storage engines, high-performance distributed network services and parallel data processing using a functional approach.
We are looking for talented, self-motivated individuals with the capability and drive to build the premiere game engine for a multitude of platforms. We want creative, committed and communicative people who want to be part of developing the best platform for some of the industry?s most talented game teams. We prefer applicants with:
• BS or MSc in Computer Science or similar discipline
• 2+ years? work experience
• Excellent C++ knowledge?
• Systems where concurrency, memory and performance is of high importance, e.g. games, embedded or real-time systems.
