Your workplace
Aeronautics, a business area of Saab, offers advanced airborne systems, related subsystems, unmanned aerial systems, aerostructures and services to defence customers and commercial aerospace industries worldwide. Aeronautics is also responsible for development, production, marketing, selling and supporting of the Gripen fighter.
Operations with flight training simulators for the Gripen is relatively new for Saab and the staff will focus on the development work that is performed to Saab to respond to its commitments to supply complete flight training system for export customers. The work also includes support for the Swedish Air Force simulators.
In the area of flight training simulators tasks consist normally of - Requirements Specification
• Implementation
• Integration and Test
• Participating in development and debugging of the aircraft simulation.
• Installation and support, in Sweden and abroad
You will mainly work as a systems engineer.
Your qualifications
You should be proficient in programming (Ada, C, C + +, QT). You should have the ability to work independently and in groups. You master English in speech and writing.
Education: MSc, BSc or equivalent experience / skills.
Experience
Unix / Linux development environment (preferably based on SUN Solaris / RedHat), Programming C / C + +, ADA, QT, Analytical Troubleshooting, Test & Verification, Presentation Skills.
Desirable experience / knowledge of real-time simulation, simulation systems and aircraft systems in general and the Gripen's avionics systems in particular.

The position entails working with classified information and requires Swedish citizenship.
