Our client is looking for a Systems Engineer based in Stockholm or Boden/Luleå for an consultant assignment for a period of 1 year but with a good chance to prolongination. The assignment requires that you are fluent in English. The need is urgent so the start date is as soon as possible.
About the position
As systems engineer you will work with the side-wide integration of various systems critical to our operations. Your expertise will ensure the efficient coordination of processes, utility systems and resources across the facility. You will work with preparing mass balances, utility balances and flow diagrams and variable cost calculations that are required to support decisions.
As Systems Engineer, you will report to and work closely with the Systems Engineering Lead.
Responsibilities
As Systems Engineer in in the owner's engineering team, you will:
• Prepare flow diagrams for various utility systems.
• Prepare mass and energy balances and utility balances.
• Prepare site-wide isolation philosophy.
• Carry out variable cost calculations.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to facilitate a fully integrated, optimized design that meets all functional requirements.
Your profile
Experience
• Engineering Degree, MSc in relevant discipline (chemical/process).
• More than 5 years of experience in a process engineering role.
• Experience working in an operational process industry (such as refining, hydrogen production, pulp & paper, metal).
Interpersonal skills
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
• Advanced ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with all internal and external entities.
• Capable of working in a dynamic environment without set processes and procedures.
• Ability to cooperate, collaborate and work efficiently in a team, as well as independently.
• Motivation to take on new challenges.
