The position is initially more focused on process development than on actual testing, but in the long term there will be opportunities for hands-on testing too.

The group "Verification & Validation" within the Complete Bus department consists of electrical verification engineers, mechatronical verification engineers, field test engineers, measuring & testing technology engineers, and test leaders. We are today a group of 28 persons of various ages, nationalities, and gender, and our main focus is on verifications of the future products that are under development.
What do we offer:
The job involves extensive contacts with other groups within the department and the entire platform development organization as well as external contacts with people from other areas, other Volvo Bus sites, and other Volvo companies. You will work in close cooperation with the other members of the test team, and there are possibilities for networking with people on all levels of the company.
Our Electrical Verification team mainly focuses on integration testing and function verification in test rigs and complete vehicles. Other focus areas are diagnostic testing, regression testing, fault tracing, and test case development. We are now focusing on future standards and way of working, and need to strengthen our team.

Qualifications:
• Strong ability to co-operate as well as being able to work independently
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
• Structured way of working
• An interest in processes and improvement work
• Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent
• Practical experience in tools such as CANalyzer, Engineering Tool, TechTool, SystemWeaver (SE-Tool), J1587 Navigator, APCI System Data Tool, PROTUS & PROTOM
• Knowledge about complete vehicle electrical architecture
• Experience from TEA2+ development is considered an advantage
