Transport is at the core of modern society. Imagine using your expertise to shape sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions for the future. If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match.

What you will do
As System Verification Engineer, you will play a critical role in defining, developing, and executing verification strategies for our embedded systems. Your responsibilities will range from crafting detailed verification plans to leading test execution and analysis, ensuring that all system components meet the highest functional and safety standards.

You will collaborate closely with system architects, software engineers, and hardware teams to define and refine verification requirements that align with system specifications. Your role will involve selecting the right verification tools and methodologies, from formal verification and simulation to emulation, while also developing custom testing environments and automation scripts to improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Verification Strategy Development:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive verification strategy, including test plans, test cases, and coverage analysis.
Define and implement verification methodologies and processes, such as formal verification, simulation, and emulation.
Collaborate with system architects and software engineers to ensure verification requirements align with system specifications.

Verification Toolchain:
Select and configure appropriate verification tools and frameworks, including simulators, emulators, and formal verification tools.
Develop and maintain custom verification environments and scripts to automate testing processes.

Verification Execution and Analysis:
Oversee the execution of verification activities, including test case development, test execution, and defect tracking.
Analyze verification results to identify potential issues and risks, and work with development teams to resolve them.
Track and report on verification progress, metrics, and coverage.

Team Leadership and Mentoring:
Lead and mentor a team of verification engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the verification team.

Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with system architects, software engineers, and hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of verification efforts.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify and address verification challenges.

Who are you?
We are seeking a technically skilled individual with a solid background in Automotive embedded systems and software development processes. You should be comfortable working with various verification methodologies-whether it's unit testing, integration testing, or system-level verification-and possess a deep understanding of tools and languages used for verification, such as Vector CAN tools and formal verification platforms.

Your experience in scripting (Python, CAPL, C#) will allow you to automate testing processes and create efficient verification environments. You'll need excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data and results.

As System Verification Engineer, you'll not only execute verification activities but also lead and mentor a team of engineers. Good leadership skills, the ability to guide technical teams, and a passion for fostering a culture of quality are essential. Also, your collaborative mindset will help you work seamlessly across functions to address challenges and ensure that verification efforts are tightly integrated into the overall development process.

Preferred qualifications
While not required, we would particularly value candidates with experience in the automotive industry and a familiarity with industry standards and certification processes such as ISO 26262. A solid understanding of formal verification techniques and experience with continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines will be advantageous.

Experience in advanced verification techniques, including constrained-random verification and coverage-driven verification, will set you apart, as will any knowledge of emerging AI or machine learning-based verification methods.

If you hold any test certification, that would also be an asset, helping you to contribute more effectively to cross-functional initiatives and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
