We currently have the following job opening;

System Project Leader Restraints

As a System Project Leader (SPL) you are working with the development of components and systems within one of CEVT:s module teams, Seats & Restraints. You will develop requirements, concepts and system solutions and you will drive the work towards suppliers according to requirements.

Responsibilities and tasks

- Lead and coordinate cross functional team (System/design engineers, Purchasing, SQM, ME, CAE, validation, etc.) after CDJ
- Drive, develop and finalize development of engineering solutions to meet project requirements
- Establish necessary engineering documents as input to supplier sourcing
- Define, plan and monitor system development, testing and validation
- Define interfaces and participate in mechanical and electrical/SW integration meetings beginning from CDJ (task delegation to system engineers possible)
- Support pre-serial vehicle builds
- Align solution of conceptual issues with System Concept Manager
- Lead and coordinate cross functional team (System/design engineers, Purchasing, SQM, ME, CAE, validation, etc.)

Requirements

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in mechanical eng., electrical eng. or similar.
- Relevant experience from development of components and systems within the automotive area.
- Cultural awareness
- A flexible mindset with ability to lead change and development and take decisions
- A creative and analytical mindset to handle complex problems
- Ability to communicate clearly and be perceptive
- Technical expertise: Long time experience of Seats & Restraints area
- Detailed and extensive knowledge about application of technologies in products/projects ¨
- Knowledge about trends and applicability of new technologies
- Detailed knowledge about planning and Product Development Systems
- Experience from working with SharePoint solutions
- Experience of working with PLM systems, preferable Teamcenter
