Within the department Driver Interaction & Infotainment we are responsible for developing and verifying systems and components within the infotainment area. We work with the latest technology in order to reach the future characteristics and requirements in a very exciting field.
The group Infotainment Platform is now looking for a System Engineer / SW Architect for our new project. It will be within your role to secure the platform for the entire infotainment system, which demands a broad knowledge of the system as well as SW development experience. You will be responsible for the SW architecture of the platform as well as leading the team working with the architecture. You will be a part of the infotainment platform team in ongoing projects, working in concept phases in the beginning of projects as well as contributing to advanced engineering projects. It will also be your responsibility to define and maintain the infotainment platform strategy.
Main responsibility:
• Infotainment system solution and SW architecture
• Defining and maintaining Infotainment platform strategy
• Contributing to advanced engineering projects
• Delivering system specifications, requirement breakdown
• Defining component requirements in the defined system solution
• Securing verification of approved system solution
• Coordination between all teams in infotainment to secure overall performance of system - manage many interfaces
Required qualifications:
• M.Sc in Electrical and/or Software engineering
• At least 5 years' experience from working in the field of SW Architecture, SW Development, requirement handling within electrical and/or software projects
• Experience from Embedded Linux Development (-> Yocto experience is a plus).
• Strong general Linux experience as a user/administrator (-> Shell scripting, networking etc.)
• General programming and debugging in a Linux/Unix environment. (-> Proficiency in profiling and debugging tools; perf, strace, valgrind, Programming with Linux kernel APIs, D-Bus, etc.)
• Knowledge about Qt programming with modern versions of Qt, i.e. Qt4/5 (-> C++ is the standard, QML experience is a plus).
• Python and C++ programming.
• Network security implementation (-> firewalls administration (Linux iptables is a plus), strong knowledge of TCP/IP and related protocol stack, SSL, certificates and encryption.)
• Open-Source project contributor
• Experience from product development
• Experience from working in an international environment
• Automotive and Infotainment experience is preferable
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Driver's license (B-level)
