We are now looking for a System Engineer for Electronics, infotainment & connectivity systems!
YOUR TEAM
The E/E Electronics Chapter is one of five competence teams inside the E/E Hardware Engineering Tribe.
The overall responsibility of the Tribe is to secure NEVS present and future need for E/E Hardware Competence & Technology within E/E Architecture, Electrical Distribution Systems, Electronics & Electrical Energy Storage. You will be part of a creative and inspiring team that like to take on challenges and find new ways to work and improve.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Be responsible for developing and maintaining NEVS hardware development in infotainment & connectivity realm, and thus ensuring that NEVS products will meet the standards required by NEVS customers.
- Develop infotainment systems, antennas systems & connectivity systems for automotive use.
- Monitoring NEVS internal test planning and review test results.
- Be responsible for setting up the attribute assessment planning and follow-up and report progress.
- Develop together with other engineers the internal and external communication platforms. This includes ECU's, Displays, antennas, antenna fusion, modems and communication strategies.
- Lead concept selection at vehicle architecture on a system and component level.
- Support Engineers across the NEVS organization in applying the general requirements in System and component specifications.
- Lead problem Root-causing and Resolution from an infotainment & connectivity perspective
- Evaluate the feasibility of development plans, technical proposals and product offerings.
WHO YOU ARE
- Successfully completed Master or bachelor's degree in electrical/ Electronics' Engineering or Physics
- Application knowledge of electronic design considerations in the automotive domain
- Engineering experience from working in the infotainment or connectivity field, minimum 5-7 years. (Depending on field of experience)
- Experience from hands on Electronics design (PCB, Electronics circuit design, component design & selection) is desirable.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
- Good communication skills and team player characteristics.
- Flexibility in your way of working.
- Analytic mindset and a good understanding of "the bigger picture".
- Curiosity and a positive attitude.
- Professional and business oriented in your profession.
- Appreciative of cultural diversity in your environment.
