True Software Scandinavia AB is experiencing great success with the multi award-winning app Truecaller and the Stockholm office is in need of reinforcement. We are a young, innovative company at the beginning of an exciting journey. Currently we are a team of 16 employees, each with a passion for development and a clear united vision of the future.
The mobile app, Truecaller, has more than 9 million users worldwide and the number is increasing by 2 million users per month. This means that you, being a part of this team, have a unique opportunity to work towards a very large user base with a unique product that will have great impact in the future.
Right now we are looking for a system administrator to join our team. You will get the opportunity to use your Linux knowledge in our backend system that daily handles several millions HTTP-connections. Your role will be to create, improve and secure our system.
We’re looking for you who:
• have been working for 3-5 years with Linux (Debian is a plus) and have good understanding of the operating system inner workings
• know how to make LAMP/J stacks rock and know when they break
• have hands-on experience with MySQL (MongoDB is a plus)
• are experienced in building and maintaining mid-sized IP networks
• have prior experience in day to day web operations - monitoring, automation, change management, backups
• enjoy dealing with complex web architectures but always think on how to simplify them
• have good shell scripting skills, it's a plus if able to read and understand php or java code
• are ambitious and enjoy working in a small and fast-growing company
• lives or want to live in Stockholm
• are fluent in English both written and verbally (Swedish is a plus)
• are a Unix superstar looking for a scene to play on…
