Our next generation truck electronic architecture will consist of 20-25 electronic control units, connected by a network. Software for the most strategic electronic control units are developed internally. For that development we take use of a model based development approach in combination with an incremental and integration driven software process. We have a maturity level in accordance to SPICE level 3.
The embedded software group consists of 30-40 highly skilled embedded software engineers. We need to further increase the workforce with Embedded Software Developers with experience from real-time embedded software development. The developed software will reside in all truck brands, manufactured and sold world-wide. The group has a global responsibility for the developed software.
Job profile:
Development of embedded real-time software for the next generation electronic truck architecture. As an embedded software developer you will work in one of several teams focusing on the technical content. You will be part of all phases in software development from requirement analysis, and software design to implementation, unit test and software integration.
The development tool-chain is composed of the tools such as ClearCase, ClearQuest, Dimension RM, AUTOSAR tool suite by Vector, Enterprise Architect, QAC, Simulink, Matlab and Embedded Coder etc. C is used as programming language. The target hardware is a 32-bit dual-core PowerPC. The physical result of your work will appear in all truck brands: Volvo, Renault, Mack and Nissan etc, brands that are manufactured and sold worldwide. You will also take part in various research programs of future products, technologies, processes and tools.
We believe you have following qualifications:
M.Sc. from Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
At least 2 years experience from development of embedded real-time software
Knowledge from UML modeling
Knowledge from software requirement specification
Knowledge from development of embedded real-time software
Knowledge or great interest in model based development
Interest in industry standard tools, methods and processes
Fluent in Swedish and English, orally as well as in writing
