Pushing boundaries for a sustainable future
Can clean-energy tech change the world? We say yes. Here's why. The way we heat our homes today is responsible for 15% of all of Europe's CO2 emissions. Switching to sustainable, clean energy solutions is the easiest and most impactful way households can play their part in net zero.

We are a next-generation home energy champion. We passionately believe that creating smart, sustainable homes is our way to make a positive impact in the world. Clean-energy tech is purposeful work. Urgent work. We'd love you to do it with us.

About the role

We are expanding our Procurement team with a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Expert. As the Sustainability Expert, you will play a crucial role in developing our company's targets, tools, and processes, and advancing our organization's commitment to sustainability within our procurement processes.

We are a young company with an extremely ambitious agenda in making a significant contribution to the fight against the climate change. In doing so, we must ensure that our products and services are produced and delivered with a minimum of negative impact on people and planet. Hence, our supply base and the entire supply chain is a critical focus area to ensure that it meets the highest sustainability standards.

Your expertise will be instrumental in driving developing and promoting sustainable sourcing practices, ethical supplier relationships, and minimizing environmental impact throughout our supply chain.

This role requires a deep understanding of ESG (environment, social and governance) principles and frameworks, related legislation, sustainability standards, and their implications on procurement processes and tools. It also requires an ability to build a roadmap to define, develop, implement and follow-up best in class sustainability goals and processes.

The role will collaborate closely with the procurement team, cross functionally with other key stakeholders, our supply base, as well as other external parties.

What we would like you to have

Besides an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to deal with constant change, we would like you to have:

Solid experience from working with ESG related topics in leading positions

• 10 years of experience in driving the development of related targets, processes, tools etc.

• Experience from sustainability related legislative, reporting, and accounting frameworks

• A degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering/Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Solid experience from a multi-country organization and cross-functional collaboration

• Solid experience from working within companies with a global supply base

• Experience from manufacturing companies is a plus

Your working language will be English. Swedish and/or other European languages is an advantage.

What we offer

• Competitive salary

• Rewarding secondary benefits

• The chance to build a global company and transformative products

• Fast-moving growth journey making a positive impact on the world

• Supportive and inclusive culture alive with learning opportunities.

At Aira, We're not just champions of next-generation energy, we're champions in Diversity and Inclusion too.
