Matters Group works with various types of clients across sectors from large consumer companies with strong brand names to smaller industrial and professional services companies. Currently, we are working with both service and product companies, both in Sweden and abroad.

Job Description
Matters Group is looking for a consultant to our growing team. As a sustainability consultant, you will be responsible for building a sustainable business framework for our clients. The specific duties are as follows:
• Research and analyse data to provide clients with the latest insights
• Develop operational models and strategies for clients to satisfy their stakeholders and bring a positive social impact.
• Draft reports or other deliverables with minimal supervision.
• Build relationships with potential/existing clients to strengthen our sales activities
• Execute other project management tasks that are necessary for the firm's operation
Qualifications:
You are both analytical and creative. You are a skilled communicator both orally and in writing. You have good administrative skills. Previous consulting experience is mandatory, and global-work experience is highly appreciated as we often require global sustainability insights, beyond Europe. The detailed requirements are as follows:
Required:
• A commitment to sustainability and social issues
• Previous consulting experience in sustainability, CSR, and/or climate change, preferably in international consulting firms
• A master's degree related to consulting such as sustainability, development, economics, or business administration
• Experience working at or with international organisations, NGOs, governments, or private firms
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Proven project management records with successful outcomes
• Fluency in English and at least in one other language to the level that you can draft reports and hold meetings with the local clients
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven skills in both Mac software (Numbers, Pages, Keynote, etc.) and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge and experience from working with ISO standards (26000, 20121, etc.) UN guiding principles on business and human rights, UN sustainable development goals
Preferred:
• Cross-sectoral experience from NGOs to the private sector
• Cross-continent work experience that can bring a fresh perspective and solutions
