Job Description
We are looking for both Senior and Junior Consultant level professionals to join our team in Sweden.
Our interdisciplinary team consists of sustainability experts with holistic understanding of sustainability; regulations, frameworks, and tools needed for businesses and public organizations in the transition to sustainable society. We are working very closely with our clients in making sustainable solutions in AFRY's three main sectors: infrastructure, industry and energy.
As a sustainability professional, you will be given responsibilities and opportunity to contribute to exciting and impactful projects in both strategic and operational level. You will be working with AFRY's specialists around the world from different sectors. At AFRY we have unique position in combining business insight with deep sustainability and technical competence to make sustainable solutions. We promote teamwork and collaboration in our inclusive and interdisciplinarity team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Growing the sustainability assessment and improvement business area in Sweden in collaboration with the international team. The content of the work focuses on GHG calculations (Scope 1,2 &3) and Life Cycle Assessments, LCA, climate roadmap and strategy, climate risk assessments, and Circular Economy projects.
• Support innovation and development to improve circularity and sustainability performance of society, products and services, something which is often done together with colleagues from other parts of AFRY having a deep, often technical, knowledge for the case at hand.
• Leading workshops and trainings.
• Driving business development and sales, management and delivery of client engagements, and taking key roles in project teams. You will be given responsibilities and opportunity to contribute to exciting projects to improve sustainability performance of society, products and services. You will be working with AFRY's local specialists as well as our specialists around the world.
Qualifications
• 2-6 years of work experience, including work with sustainability assessment and improvement, as a GHG calculator or LCA practitioner, designer with sustainability focus or in-house specialist.
• A passion for sustainability, science-based methodologies, and sustainability improvement.
• University degree in engineering or science, with a focus on climate calculations, circular economy, LCA and improvement from a sustainability point of view.
• Experience from leading workshops and trainings
• An analytical mindset with demonstrated ability for strategic thinking, with a consultative capability to recognize opportunities to add value to client.
• Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills in English and Swedish
• Experience of working with client management to discuss and present engagements and provide recommendations.
• Project management skills with good level of structure and organization.

Business unit Sustainability Consulting consist of 50 interdisciplinary experts with vast understanding of sustainability. Our current home countries are Finland, Germany and Sweden, and we are growing rapidly in Europe. The business unit is part of AFRY's Infrastructure Division.
