hela Sverige We are now looking for a Linux Admin/Support Engineer for work assignment with some of our clients.
Main responsibilities
• Respond to support requests from users and their organisations.
• Create and maintain documentation for the Linux Client.
• Perform root cause analyses (RCAs) and drive long-term solutions.
• Highlight problematic areas to the team for long-term improvement.
Required Experience:
• Management of Linux systems, preferably Debian derived.
• Involvement in open source projects in the past is a plus.
• Experience from global IT organisations and adherence to policies.
• Some Ansible knowledge would be beneficial, but not a requirement.
Required Skills:
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Good communication skills; the ability to convey ideas in written form and the capability to share those ideas in a clear, concise manner.
• Good collaboration and relational skills; comfortable working with other skilled professionals in project teams towards common goals.
• An understanding of the makeup of a modern GNU/Linux distribution, Debian or Ubuntu preferred.
• Clear understanding of common script languages, such as bash.
Required Personality:
• Self-directed, organised and results oriented.
• Structured and analytical with excellent problem solving ability.
• Good management skills and experience of such tools.
• Enthusiastic about learning new tools and techniques.
• Ability to accept and promote change.
