Global External Sourcing is accountable for sourcing and supply of externally manufactured products into our customer's network. Our customer is organised in a Process Centric Organisation with two main processes; Supply to Customer and Establish New Supply to Customer, with a high focus on cross-functional team work.
One of our customer's strategic directions is to get a foothold/presence within the Diabetes portfolio and as such a recent acquisition of the BMS (Bristol Myers Squibb) diabetes portfolio has been made. The Supply Chains inherit as part of this deal are predominantly 3rd party supplied, leading to GES Planning looking to recruit a number of roles within this fast paced, exciting and challenging area.
The assignment start as soon as posible and ongoing for one year. You will be working at our cosutmer's office in Södertälje
Publiceringsdatum2014-05-14Dina arbetsuppgifterAs Supply Planner you will be an active member of in particular the Supply to Customer process, with daily interactions with suppliers, customers and other roles within GES.
The â'Supply planning,' role within GES incorporates the conventional activities associated with end-to-end supply to customer with a specific skill and behaviour set associated with working with suppliers, customers and stakeholders. The supplier relationships range from buy only to contract manufacturing for Raw Materials, APIs and Formulated and Packed products, located across a number of different countries. To act as the key contact for day-to-day supply to a wide range of customers. Build, maintain and develop customer relations. Participate in the Demand and Supply Process. To support and follow the Regional Business Planning processes. Work with the customers to create a clean Demand picture in order to achieve robust supply plans and clean orders for execution.
The role holder will have the operational responsibility for supply from one or more suppliers and the customers associated with the suppliers. The role holder has the authority to make operational decisions with suppliers/customers that ensure the timely supply of product whilst maximising efficiencies for the business. The role holder will work and communicate on a daily basis around orders, delivery plans, forecasts, stock levels etc in order to make the right decisions and prioritisations with the customer and supplier in focus.
Included in the role is also active work with Practical Problem Solving and Continuous Improvements in cross-functional teams, both as team member and as team leader as appropriate.
The work is executed in a global environment, with strong focus on cross-functional collaboration with other roles such as Supply Chain Leads, QA, Tactical Planners, Packaging Coordinators, Project Managers and Supplier Relationship Managers.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
Excellent communication skills are required as working collaboratively with suppliers, customers and stakeholders is a key part of this role.
• The role holder must be fluent in English, both oral and written.
• The role holder must be confident of making effective decisions despite uncertainty and/or incomplete information to drive business outcomes. Communicate to stakeholders clearly to ensure alignment
