Description
Tetra Pak Supply Chain Operations (SCO) source, make and deliver recyclable packaging material, straws, caps, closures, sealing solutions and filling machines with superior quality for our packaging business customers. Within Supply Chain Operations, Capital Equipment leads and manages the sourcing, production, installation and commissioning of Tetra Pak packaging lines until final acceptance by the customer. The area of responsibility runs from the time an order is placed until the equipment has been delivered, installed and achieved agreed performance at the customer.
Within this organization we are looking for a Supply Manager who will be driving and developing supplier relationships in alignment with overall strategies and who will secure the achievement of KPI's related to quality, cost and delivery.
This position is a temporary contract due to parental leave. It is based in Lund, Sweden and requires approximately 20 % travelling.
Main responsibilities
• Sourcing, contracting and maintaining a supplier base in line with business requirements
• Creating and implementing Commodity Strategies for the defined product groups
• Securing Risk Management with Contingency plans and back-up supply solutions
• Driving Performance Improvements focusing on quality, lead time and cost
• Driving a common agenda with the supplier base, defining agreement on cooperation and expectations between Tetra Pak and the Suppliers
• Supporting machine development projects with commercial expertise and a fit for purpose supplier base.
Qualifications
The successful candidate has a structured holistic view and an analytical mindset. This position demands strong communication and social skills, the ability to create long-term partnerships and to influence other members of the organization in a positive way.
In addition to that we want you to demonstrate a collaboration mindset, performance drive and an eager to learn and develop yourself.
You have a university degree in Engineering or equivalent and at least 2 years experience in Supplier Management. Previous experience in one or more of the following areas is mandatory: fact based negotiation, project management, stakeholder management and Contract Life Cycle management.
We believe you have good applied knowledge in Microsoft Office and some experience in SAP R/3.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
