This role involves taking the procurement and logistics responsibility in ABB Process Industries in Sweden, implementing effective sourcing strategies to ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
You will drive excellence in the execution of purchasing and logistics strategies that aid the business by optimizing costs, quality and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.

Your responsibilities
Utilizing the SAP Ariba global supplier relationship management platform, disseminating supplier information and finding existing high-performing suppliers to ABB
Supporting sales in tender phase and project management during delivery by making sure ABB has suppliers full support by tracking procurement activities, cost, budgets, and savings forecasts
Overseeing buying activities to ensure that buyers minimize risk by buying in accordance with procedures and ABB guidelines
Leveraging CIPS category teams locally, regionally and globally to ensure appropriate supplier selection
Monitoring internal and supplier performance, quality and development actions while resolving issues related to costs, quality and delivery
Ensuring that the procurement is properly organized, skilled and directed while guiding, motivating and developing less experienced colleagues in line
Your background
At least 5 years of experience in a strategic supply management role, preferably within the industry segment and project business
Demonstrated experience working with standard operating procedures
Demonstrated informal leadership skills
A collaborative and solution-focused approach
Fluent in Swedish and English
