hela Sverige Do you have a passion for creating effective value chains while ensuring that all customers get a world-class experience when they buy a kitchen from one of our brands? If so, the Supply Chain track at the Nobia Graduate Programme could be your next step on the career path.
This is an opportunity for you to learn and develop the skills you need to succeed in an international organization. Through the programme you will develop an understanding of our business, brands and organizational structure, and you will have responsibilities from day one.
Being part of a fast-paced and exciting business you take part in day-to-day operations and solve real challenges. You will always look for ways to improve performance and thereby gain an in-depth understanding of our organization, from Supply Chain to Sales.
You will be exposed to different challenges within your field of expertise and thus build the required competencies you need to become an influential player.
Growth is the key word
The programme consists of an intensive 1-year cross-organisational training period at your home office in Tidaholm, Sweden. Here you will get familiar with the business, our organization and working culture, and you will get involved in local and cross-functional projects. After this period you will do two further rotations of six months each - one in Ølgod, Denmark and one in Nastola, Finland.
The project assignments allow you to take immediate responsibility and enable you to prove your skills while solving problems, shaping new solutions and contributing to change and development. You will not only be learning and developing, but also get challenged and made accountable for clear deliveries.
Your assignments will cover the full range of tasks from hands-on execution of functional tasks to analysis, follow-up on activities, administrative support to the management team, project participation and potentially project management.
Through three rotation periods, you will be involved in
Sourcing: work with production to optimize just-in-time deliveries, storage capacity and delivery windows
Logistics: work with our production planning, truck capacities and delivery routes on different markets
Production/Operations: work with our production layout, planning systems, quality control and core KPIs
Customer Support: work with customer feedback to optimize the overall production and logistics challenges
Projects & Analytics: including analysis of cross functional KPIs, and cross functional projects and presentations
The red thread through all the assignments will be to acquire in-depth understanding of our value chain from supplier to customer. This is absolutely crucial. What are the biggest challenges? What are the root causes? How do we find solutions that support all parts of the value chain? How do we learn and develop our value chain from customer feedbacks?
What's in it for you?
As a Graduate at Nobia, you will have a unique opportunity to gain cross-functional experience and build up a strong business understanding of the format or business unit you engage with. The programme will offer you the possibility to work hands-on with the end-to-end processes. In this way, you will acquire insights into various key business areas.
You will develop your skills to design, execute and follow-up on a variety of projects while building a solid basis of supply chain knowledge, covering subjects as manufacturing, transportation, lean and process management, supply chain management, production planning, analytics and project management. As you work your way across different areas and functions, you will not only acquire extensive supply chain and manufacturing knowledge, but also develop core managerial skills for a successful career at Nobia.
Your professional and personal skills:
You have a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering and Management or a related field and are a high-performer with excellent academic achievements and a great potential
You have had relevant student jobs and/or have international experience
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are capable of solving complex tasks
You are proficient in English and have a good understanding of the Scandinavian languages
You have excellent communication skills and you are comfortable in presenting your findings to an audience
You feel comfortable in an international working environment, and you have a high degree of mobility and flexibility as to travelling and working abroad
You are curious and easy to cooperate with, and you think outside of the box
You are always open to new challenges and thrive even though you may sometimes have to leave your comfort-zone
You are proactive and thrive to deliver against tight deadlines
Throughout the programme you will be encouraged by your manager to review your progress towards achievement of role objectives and personal development plans. You will get the training, experience and support you need to develop a good start for your future career.
To solve your daily tasks and to learn more about our customers and what matters to them, you will work closely with colleagues and interact with a wide range of business partners and stakeholders - both internally and externally.
After the two years programme you should be equipped to take over a position with your own responsibilities within our kitchen organization and become an important part of our further development.
