Cobham Gaisler is looking for a skilled Supply Chain Engineer to join our experienced team. We have a market leading position in processor solutions for space, including satellite communications.

From the office in the Gothenburg city center, you will be working in an international environment where we collaborate with customers, suppliers, and industry colleagues worldwide. As a Supply Chain Engineer, your expertise in ensuring VLSI components to our space customers from order to shipment is welcomed and will be essential to our Supply Chain Management. You will be part of our Supply Chain team working closely with our hardware section, ASIC design companies as well as EEE components assembly and test houses.

Responsibilities
Providing technical expertise and supply chain management to Cobham Gaisler projects in the field of ASIC development and manufacturing
Close follow-up of ASIC manufacturing at our suppliers
Development of ASIC EEE part specifications and test procedures for COTS and space level parts
Technical assistance to contracted test labs, assembly and test houses as well as EEE parts failure investigations
Review of manufacturing and electrical test data to verify part/lot acceptability
Participation in feasibility studies, project reviews and evaluation of proposals
Establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with key suppliers
Active participation in internal process improvement activities
Qualifications
To be successful with us, we see that you have prior experience in some of the following areas:
Strong background in space grade ASIC technologies and manufacturing processes
Deep knowledge of EEE component selection and qualification for space applications including ESA- and MIL-specifications and standards
Extensive sourcing background in EEE components industry and Supply Chain including preparation of procurement activities
Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics
