Place of action
Security and Defence Solutions, a business area of Saab, offers command and control systems, airborne early warning systems, civil security systems and solutions, training and simulation, as well as telecom carrier.

The Operational Excellence & Quality team work with Quality Management and support to our Project Managers in customer projects. Additionally the section also focuses on Continual Improvements, Change Management and Operational Excellence e.g. finding ways to work smarter.

The team consists of 10 people working with wide areas of expertise e.g.; Quality Assurance in customer projects, Project Mangers in Improvement Projects, general support to the leaders and managers within the Command & Control (C2S) Product Area, GMS (Saabs general Management System), Risk Management and Process Management.

Your future challenge
The roles as a Supplier Quality Assurance Manager will include but not be limited to following-up subsuppliers with respect to agreed deadlines, requirements and agreed quality of service.

As a Supplier Qualirt Assurance Manager, you will work with supplier development, supplier quality and will in close co-operation with our purchasers be responsible for the ongoing work with quality assurance of subsuppliers, creating supplier-development programs and conduct audits and inspections as required. There may be traveling together with other experts to the subsupplier sites for follow up or initial audits in order to either confirm or assure deliver according to agreements. Our goal is that through proactive efforts and improvement activities with our suppliers to be able reduce our quality costs caused by suppliers.

 The role reports to the Procurement Manager and the Operational Excellence & Quality Manager.

Todays demands
The person we are looking for is organized, clear and a very confident communicator able to influence a wide range of people. You need to have knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of systems development processes and project management. Experience from work with Procurement or other Quality Assurance activities is a must.

We are looking for someone with the following experiences:

•  Management skills (coordinate, plan and perform sub-supplier audits) 

• Experience of international Quality standards e.g. ISO9001, ISO14001, Tick-It and AQAP

•  Fluent in English and Swedish

 The position entails working with classified information and requires Sweden citizenship.
