At Supplier Quality, our task is to assure that the suppliers we bring on that journey live up to our expectations. One of us is now continuing his journey within the world of quality assurance and we are therefore looking for a new team member.
This is us
We are a team of supplier quality managers with diverse backgrounds working with quality assurance of electronics, electrification and autonomous vehicles. We are part of Scania purchasing and we are cooperating on a daily basis with our purchasing colleagues. This gives us strength in sharing experiences and knowledge as well makes us a part of a commercial team.
Who are you?
We believe you have some years of experience in either quality assurance, manufacturing or design of electronics. You are good at coordinating and handling large amounts of info and to build networks both within and outside of your organization.
You like to work both independent and together with other people. We believe that you quickly see the bigger picture, what needs to be done and initiate the relevant activities. If you have the ability to make other people listen, feel included and follow your lead, that will help you a lot in your work.
The job
As an SQA, you will work with processes of Quality assurance, such as PPAP, IATF 16949 as well as Scania-internal processes. You are part of the cross-functional group that selects suppliers for new and existing parts. You will also work with new projects and make sure that suppliers are fulfilling Scania requirements, as well as monitoring and acting on the suppliers performance towards Scania production. You will also work cross-functional with colleagues within RnD and Production, both within Scania and Traton Group.
The job does include some travels. To what extent is partly depending on your need for control and skills in planning. Many tasks can be handled from remote and trips are normally planned by yourself, so that they can be adjusted to your personal schedule.
