Sandestin imports and sells interior design products with focus on small scale and sustainable production. Our mission is to market products that are not only sustainably made but also have a positive effect on the communities from where we source them.
We are in the process of creating a network of small scale suppliers from the Philippines and need a Supplier Coordinator. Among many specific tasks a Supplier Coordinator will be assisting in making contact, selecting, and formalizing agreements with suitable suppliers. As relationships are formalized the SC will place orders, handle communications, order samples and check for consistency as well as assisting with the logistics side.
Since many of our suppliers are small scale operations with none or limited knowledge of English the applicant needs to be fluent in Tagalo. Fluency in English is also a requirement and knowledge of Swedish is meriting.
At Sandestin our IT infrastructure is based on the Microsoft Navision business system and previous experience in this IT environment is highly desired. The applicant also needs to be fully comfortable with the Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on Excel where you need to be an advanced user.
We believe that the ideal candidate has attended university or college with a degree in business or communications or any similar discipline. Bachelor of Science is preferred.
We are looking for a candidate and colleague that is very driven, outgoing, meticulous and exhibits a passion for making a difference through better business practice. Ideally our candidate has previous exposure to working with smaller manufacturers and an existing network among smaller Philippines producers in place. Experience from charitable work is meriting.
Since we are a small enterprise you will be very involved in all processes and you are expected to be flexible and be able to help also on the sales side when needed. Previous sales experience is therefore a big plus.
Sandestin has an active agreement with Unionen where we abide by their union labor regulations. Sandestin offers fixed monthly salary and payed vacation.
