Essential Responsibilities:
The E&L team supports all bioprocess sites. Studies need to continue year around with incubations. In order for the E&L team staff to be off on vacation, a summer intern is needed to keep the studies going as there needs to be at least two persons in the lab at the same time to manage the experiments. The position is within the Extractables section within the cell culture and consumables department.
The summer intern will work in the analytical chemistry lab. Duties includes liquid/liquid extraction, analysis of samples, evaluation of data, and documenting work in writing.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Training in analytical chemistry
• Practical experience of GC-MS and LC-MS
• And excellent reporting skills.
Other:
• You must be 18 years old and have a valid work permit
• All employees must conduct drug test and background check before start date.
