The School of Health Sciences at Örebro University is seeking two motivated and detail-oriented student assistants to support the development of a research project focusing on female sport population. The position is ideal for a student interested in sports science, exercise physiology, or data-driven approaches to human performance research.

Duties and responsibilities
The student assistant will assist the principal investigator and research team with various preparatory tasks for the upcoming research project, including:

• Conducting literature reviews on female athlete physiology.
• Assisting in the design and planning of experimental protocols, including testing sessions and data collection procedures.
• Helping with research ethics documentation and preparation of ethics applications.
• Supporting the development of participant recruitment materials and inclusion/exclusion criteria.
• Contributing to data management plan and risk assessment preparation.
• Collaborating in the preparation of grant applications and internal university documentation related to the project.

Qualifications
To qualify for appointment as an student assistant, the applicant must be admitted to studies at Örebro University at master's level. Preference will be given to students enrolled in Sport medicine and physiology master.

Required qualifications:

• Good academic understanding, and strong written and verbal communication skills (in English).
• Strong interest in exercise physiology, sports performance, or gender-specific aspects of training.
• Basic knowledge of scientific writing and research methodology.
• Good organizational and teamwork skills.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience with literature searches (PubMed).
• Familiarity with physiological testing (VO2max, strength assessments).
• Basic statistical or data analysis skills.

Information
This is a part-time position (20%) for 2 months. At Örebro University, salary is determined in accordance with our local collective agreement.
