Junior club and Assistants for IES Sundbyberg

Do you want to work in an international environment in an organisation with a clear pedagogical vision? Are you enthusiastic and passionate about developing an IES school that is expanding?

IES Sundbyberg started in August 2018 for year 4 and 5. Now we are ready for the next step by welcoming more staff, teachers and students to the school start in August 2019. We are recruiting members of staff to our Junior Club to help create our fantastic working environment.

The main duties of the Assistants are:

• Encouraging a calm, safe orderly environment at all times
• Being visible around the school, observing and supporting the students
• Focus on building positive relationships with the students and staff
• Ensure that students have clear guidelines on what is expected at the school
• Participate in the work with the Likabehandlingsplan/Equality Plan
• Responsible for different tasks in Junior Club / Fritids
• Contribute to a well organised Junior Club / Fritids with team ethic at the centre
• Follow all guidelines/routines agreed upon and received by the management team
• Promote loyalty to the vision and values of the school

Knowledge

• Strong understanding of the IES vision, ethos and values

Skills

• Experience of working well with others or as part of a team
• Bilingual with English and Swedish
• Basic understanding of Swedish school law
• Basic understanding of student care and pedagogic
