For one of our offices in either Hamburg, Stockholm or Amsterdam we are looking for a Structuring Analyst.
The job
We offer an exciting and challenging job where you work close to the business as well as with state-of-the-art technology. The position offers a mix of analytical tasks, and a close co-operation with front office, which gives a solid commercial understanding of our markets.
Main tasks:
Development of methodologies for pricing models for structured contracts, such as Renewable Energy Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Flexible Assets like Pump Storages and Batteries
Implementation and operation of our models in a cloud infrastructure and constant seeking for opportunities to improve our processes
Advising Front Office on structures and determining fair values for given deals and what drives their value
Support Front Office with ad-hoc analysis and derive insights from data
Close co-operation with other team members in an Agile setup
Qualifications
You
As a Structuring Analyst you are comfortable working with sophisticated mathematical models. At the same time, you are flexible enough to work on more straightforward analyses if this is what will provide most value for our business. You are a natural communicator and have the willingness to have direct and frequent interaction with the Front Office (Origination, Trading). You are furthermore enthusiastic about working closely with other members of the team - sharing ideas and developing models together in an Agile setup.
Qualifications and capabilities:
Academic degree of a relevant mathematical discipline, such as engineering, mathematics, physics or similar
Preferably some experience in the Energy business, especially pricing of structured products such as PPA and full requirement deals.
Able to work with sophisticated mathematical models or are comfortable learning to do so
Sound programming skills in Python
A data oriented mindset, knowledge about tools like Azure, GIT and Kafka is a plus
Strong communication skills and the willingness to interact with colleagues, stakeholders and other data-driven departments
Fluent in English. Swedish, German or Dutch is an advantage

Contract type: Permanent (after 6 months of probation).
