Job Description
As the Strategy & Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of strategic marketing plans in the Region.
Your role is critical in driving the success of CA&M by ensuring that all marketing activities align with the company's objectives and contribute to its growth and profitability, in adherence to the global strategy and framework, putting your knowledge of brand, media, channel planning, customer centricity and loyalty program management into action.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze market trends, and leverage consumer & customer insights to create data-driven marketing plans that deliver impactful results across the Region.
Responsibilities
Lead your team:
Lead and mentor the team, providing guidance and support to team members. Encourage professional development and foster a positive work culture.
You will lead a team in various areas, such as media, performance media. Your role is at the center of customer & activity planning, and you are responsible for achieving results, based on set KPIs.
To be a role model you will need to demonstrate a strong media background, the ability to balance branding and performance considerations, and the expertise to together with your team set goals and implement tactics for success in paid and owned media, as well as ensuring customer growth through the loyalty/membership program & partnerships.
Marketing Strategy Development
Lead the development of comprehensive marketing strategies based on the Global Framework that align with the company's overall business objectives.
Identify key target audiences and segments and develop marketing plans to reach and engage them effectively.
Depending on regional strategy and direction, develop marketing strategies that align with the long-term direction.
Develop out the strategy to support the growth and opportunities, with the lens of the Relationship Phases.
Collaborate with the insights team on market research and analysis to identify market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
Close collaboration with the Regional/Markets Team, Central Teams & Bus to ensure the optimum activity plan for the region
Collaborate with PR, Insights and Content Operations teams to drive overall results for the CA&M unit.
Marketing Planning
Lead and drive the marketing activity planning for the Region, in collaboration with the Omni Sales Team.
Create a comprehensive customer plan for the Region and Sales Markets that encompasses all stages of the consumer relationship phases, from attracting new customers through to developing our most valuable customers.
Oversee the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across owned, earned and paid. Ensuring that campaigns are well-coordinated across the team and deliver consistent brand messaging.
Oversee the overall media budget, in collaboration with the Media Manager & Performance media lead, securing we allocate effectively to different campaigns and activities.
Establish overall KPIs for marketing initiatives and monitor campaign performance with media mgr & performance lead.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications are advantageous.
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in marketing, with a focus on marketing strategy and planning.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable marketing strategies.
Experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across various channels.
Proficiency in marketing analytics, market research, and budget management.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate marketing plans and results to stakeholders.
Strategic thinking and the ability to align marketing efforts with broader business goals.
Leadership skills to effectively manage a team, promote a positive work environment, and foster collaboration.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Experience in creating and maintaining strong working relationships with people from different business functions
Experience in developing marketing plans across all channels - traditional/digital
Experience with loyalty program management
Additional Information
This is a full-time position and will be based in Stockholm, Sweden and will reports to the Head of Customer Activation & Marketing for Southern Hemisphere Region.
