Wavemaker is looking for a Strategy Director.

Wavemaker is located on Birger Jarlsgatan in Stockholm and consists of 65 people who love to work and create magic together, generating that little extra for our clients. The role
In the role of Strategy Director, you are responsible for the day-to-day contact with clients and you will drive their business to higher levels. Together with a number of specialists, you will ensure, the highest possible client satisfaction, while coordinating and following up on business objectives.
You must have a genuine interest in understanding our clients' business and what role marketing plays in driving their growth. As you have a curious and enthusiastic approach, you will contribute to developing effective and innovative solutions. You are quick-thinking and swiftly capture changes in the market that can benefit our clients, the team or our work processes.
Tasks
In this role, you work completely overall with our customers at a high strategic level.
You need to be far advanced in the digital journey and understand intricate problems and be able to solve them strategically on behalf of the customer. To then connect working teams that execute the strategy and journey the customer needs to make for a digital transfer. Can apply to everything from MarTech, AdTech, transfers between digital platforms, how to analyze data and use it to achieve set goals and how to best run the customer's business as efficiently as possible. You need to be able to keep topline strategic reasoning with C-level, MC, management team, boards and management.
Issues in the role can be, for example, that one of the largest gaming companies wants to rejuvenate its target group - how should this relocation (change media channels ?!) and rejuvenation process be carried out, what should the brand strategy look like and how should this be executed in an efficient manner.
You will work a lot with internal and external stakeholders and stakeholder management (in-house departments will communicate and collaborate with Wavemaker's departments) and be involved in CRM - Customer Relationship Management for the customer to improve customer travel.
To put the strategy into practice and all the work it entails based on a detailed media plan that can contain everything from digital (mainly) analogue media tailored to the customer's expectations and Wavemaker's implementation power. This job includes modulation, analyzing data and business science, and being able to econometrically account for how much effect the financial investment results in for the customer in the end. Be able to report why a change of various Tech products, systems, platforms ex. AdServer should be done.

Client
Responsible for the day-to-day contact with the client and the work of your team.
On some assignments, coordinate Nordic and international clients.
Make recommendations on a wide range of subjects and systems/platforms and other. Ensure clients media plans are up to date and accurate.
Team
Lead your team of specialists to ensure that strategy plans are improved and executed efficiently and drives results according to business goals.
Finance
Be responsible for invoicing and ensure that this works accurately.
Contribute to setting forecasts and budget processes.
By understanding the clients' business, identify opportunities where our services can help.
Marketing & Sales
Be responsible for producing case studies.
Role requirements
Documented experience in marketing and an understanding of how the full marketing mix works together.
University education in a relevant field, or a degree from eg. Berghs or IHM.
Experience of working within marketing and of coordinating media strategy and media purchasing.
