Group Store Design delivers architect and design services to several brands globally. Together with our brand partners, we strive to enable meaningful business growth by leading our industry towards more sustainable and relevant architect and design solutions. Our scope includes everything from the creation and conceptualization of retail and non-commercial design concepts to product and graphic design, to high quality and efficient global roll outs. We are committed to deliver great customer experiences through excellent craftmanship and brand interpretation through strong collaboration and innovative ideas. We are a talented and diverse team of Architects, Interior Designers and Graphic Designers, and we are now looking for one additional talent to join our great team.
Job Description
We are now looking for a Store Design Manager EMEA to join us on our future journey. Together with a fantastic team of Store Design Team Leads and Store Designers, you will overall be responsible for realizing store projects across multiple regions, for several brands. You will be responsible for several teams's delivery of high-quality architectural packages and layout plans based on customer needs and behaviors, hence, your focuses will span across goal setting and budgeting, identifying brand and customer opportunities, driving operational excellence as well as leading in change. Your prime focus will be strategical, working together with your team of Store Design Team Leads to find smarter ways to deliver even greater results. You will be reporting to the Head of Group Store Design and have 5 direct reports, but overall responsibility for a function of +60 people. In addition, you will be expected to collaborate with many brilliant colleagues outside of your own team, both in Stockholm and internationally, to maximize your results.
Your responsibilities
Overall responsible for the implementation of multiple brand's interior concept in several regions, both in roll out and test phase
Together with you team, regions, sales markets and brands, ensure relevant strategic focuses, goals and KPIs, including continuous learning and adaption of such
Budget responsibility
Lead your teams through transformative times, creating an inspiring environment with an open communication culture based on trust and empowerment
Support individual and team performance development and actively work with strategies bringing out the best from our people
Ensure the right long-term capacity within your organization and pro-actively ensure a sufficient organizational dimensioning
Identify new opportunities to improve business and services both within existing client base as well as externally
We believe you have:
Minimum of 5-10 years relevant working experience as a leader within the area of retail architecture or interior
A bachelor's degree within Business, Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent
Good strategic abilities, i.e., able to define, package and communicate effective mid- and long-term plans supporting an overall vision or strategic direction
Experience from leading teams through change, well familiar with change management in both theory and practice
Deep understanding of the various stages of a real estate project, from initiation to completion and follow up, i.e., exploration, negotiation, building of business cases, approval stages, design, ordering and construction
Strong project management skills, being able to overlook and manage multiple projects in complex environments involving several stakeholders
Great communication and presentation skills
Fluent in English
Ability to travel
