Line Engineering, within Carton Bottle & Gable Top and Tetra Recart, is a dedicated team responsible for the design of all our packaging line systems. Our machines operate all over the world with diverse and challenging demands on our equipment. To meet these demands our development teams must find simple, robust and elegant solutions to intricate problems.
We are now looking for a Thermal Process Specialist to secure and develop our competence in thermal processing of Tetra Recart packages. Thermal processing is a key technology area for the Tetra Recart system. In this role as technology specialist you shall drive the area forward using physics and food technology leading to new solutions and innovations. The position offers the possibility to work in an innovative and agile environment.
This position will be based in Lund, Sweden and it includes approx. 15% of travelling time.
Main responsibilities
• Participate in development projects introducing new or improved thermal process solutions into the TRC packaging system. Development projects are executed in cross functional scrum teams.
• Support other development activities and scrum teams as well as our sales organisation with Thermal process technology expertise
• Build and share Thermal process competence long term to ensure technology leadership within this area
• Prepare, perform and analyse tests both in physical and virtual environment of heat process equipment and process related package and food quality
• Follow regulatory and market demands regarding thermal processing of shelfstable food.
Qualifications
We are looking for a self-motivated person with a drive to seek knowledge and add value to the team and organization.
We believe you have excellent communication and networking skills, the ability to develop effective relationships and gain credibility among stakeholders and work across borders.
You possess a high-level of business understanding and autonomy, with strong drive for results.
You have a University degree within food engineering or a Master of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with specialisation in food technology and at least 7 years of work experience from food engineering and thermal processing in the food industry.
An excellent command of English, both written and oral is required. Knowledge of Swedish lan-guage is considered a plus.
