As a Specialist People & Organizational Development, you will contribute in realizing Volvo Trucks' strategy; you will become a true business partner and support in driving people and organizational performance. You will be instrumental in ensuring Volvo Trucks is prepared for the challenges today and for the future. The People and Organizational team will have a global responsibility and work closely with Volvo Trucks management and the broader HR community with the aim of achieving successful business performance for Volvo Trucks and our customers over time.

You will report to the Director People & Organizational Development and be a member of a team of 5 dedicated professionals. The way of working in this team will be through high collaboration and more of a project way of working.

Main activities and responsibilities
• Contribute in developing initiatives and activities in the area of people and organizational development globally in Volvo trucks
• Contribute to the development and execution of the Volvo Truck HR strategy and roadmap in line with the Strategic Business management cycle and inputs
• Contribute to present and future development of major HR processes; Talent & Succession management, Performance management to ensure effective execution in these areas
• Support Organizational development and ways of working by optimizing activities such as effective people processes, leadership behaviours, employer branding and importantly our culture
• Development of HR Processes for the future HR Digital landscape
• Be a true speaking partner and support to Sales Area and Market HR
• In a fast moving industry, support Volvo Trucks with securing and developing our leadership and competencies to meet business challenges over the business cycle, as well as insight into progressive ways of working and competencies for the future
• Actively interact with stakeholders and contribute in relevant networks
• Champion our desired culture aimed at giving Volvo Trucks a strong image as a great place to work and drive growth in "Our Values"

Critical competences and key requirements

Our new colleagues must have real talent for international business with a solid insight of retail business, in addition to multi-cultural experience. We require you to display innovative HR development and specific ability to bring words to action. Be inspiring, inclusive and an active team member. You must hold a strong personal credibility, integrity and creativity and be willing to share your strengths. The work includes distinctive problem solving abilities and business analysis, including a good understanding of the commercial vehicle and retail business.

• University degree in HR and/or an MBA
• Previous international or cross-functional/industry assignments preferable
• Experience from retail business
• Strong track record in coaching
• Strong business acumen and business curiosity
• Collaborative and great team player
• Demonstrate strong capacity in building networks and the ability to influence
• Have an interest in where the disruptive technology will take us in the future in regards to people and organization
• Holistic view without losing the details
• Planning and execution skills in a multicultural environment
• Ability to go from theory to action
• Fluent in English
