The department of Operational Excellence and development's main purpose is to improve Klarna's operations both strategically and operationally, across all Klarna markets. We're now looking to hire an operational developer to join the team.

As an operational developer, you will be responsible for driving special projects and initiatives ranging from proactively identifying improvement areas, analysis and pre-studies to implementing decided changes. You will play an important role in supporting operations especially with more challenging assignments involving more complex problem solving, or with driving change across several different teams. You will have a large impact on operational quality and efficiency, and on the operational customer experience.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant working experience

• Experience from independently conducting (non-technical) pre-studies

• Hands-on experience of business analysis and making business cases

• BSc or MSc in economics, finance, industrial engineering or in a quantitative field

• Great skills in Office and especially in Excel

• Excellent English oral and written presentation skills.

• Passion for solving business problems and making change happen.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience from independently driving projects and initiatives and leading people, e.g., from working as a management consultant

• Experience of working with operational excellence and operational customer experience (preferably within finance/ consumer finance)

• Passion for solving business problems and ability to effectively challenge the status quo

To be successful in this position you have strong analytical ability and interest as well as a proven track record of initiating and driving change. You enjoy hands-on problem solving and analysis taking both quantitative and qualitative aspects into consideration, always see the bigger picture and excel in driving cross-department initiatives to materialize your conclusions.
