We are looking to appoint two talented and experienced Sourcing professionals who want global exposure within a dynamic, fast paced and user focused environment. You will have an appetite for change and innovation, and bring an ambitious, motivated approach to our already high performing team. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will play an important role in supporting the development and delivery of new products throughout the Permobil Group.
As Sourcing Specialist at Permobil you will work in an organization responsible for global project sourcing activities throughout Permobil Group. Your key focus will be on our Power wheelchair product portfolio, which represent the largest business unit within Permobil. The sourcing responsibility relates to new and updated Permobil products. All products are results from Permobil product development projects and assignments with which you will work closely. Responsibilities and activities within the team are sourcing coordination in the global supplier base, RFQ handling, supplier negotiations, accept of quotes, initial sample handling, phase in and out of new and old item revisions as well as distribution of sourcing information to Permobil Production Units.
Furthermore, you will be part of a team driving alignment in global sourcing processes, methods and tools throughout Permobil Group. And, we see you being part of product development projects within our Power Wheelchair Business Unit.
Your key targets will be to improve Time To Market promises for new and updated products as well as sharp cost awareness for the product in the supply chain. Focus is also First Time Right specifications from projects as well as tools and concepts within the areas of Total Cost of Ownership, Clean sheet Sourcing and Category management - that are all well known to you.
Qualifications
We believe that you have a university degree within supply chain, engineering or equivalent education along with a portion of work experience from Sourcing, Product development, Purchasing, Procurement, Project purchasing or similar positions.
You need knowledge in business analysis, business negotiations, Lean concept and production. You also have solid understanding of product development processes as well as an interest in quality, logistics and production engineering. You are quality oriented - that's valid for both products and processes.
You are used work in multiple projects, can manage stressful situations, have a logical as well as an analytical way of thinking. We expect you to have good relationship management and communication skills as most of the work is cross-functional and international.
