Volvo Buses is one of the world's leading manufacturers of Buses and we at Volvo Group IT manage the IT solutions supporting their manufacturing around the globe. We are now expanding our team supporting the chassis operations in Borås and Uddevalla. We are looking for you, as Solution Leader, supporting our Bus Solutions at the Uddevalla plant!

You will be a part of the Solutions Center Bus & Penta, working in the Bus delivery context, mainly supporting the local systems in the Uddevalla plant. In the Solution Center we take pride working close to the business, deliver with excellence and have fun at the same time.
Role Description and Context
On behalf of the Delivery Manager, you as Solution Leader will take the complete responsibility to manage the end user, business and IT requirements for the applications in scope. In addition you will have the responsibility to manage and plan the operational work, like application support, maintenance and enhancements for the same applications. This will be done in cooperation with mainly third party suppliers and in continuous dialogue with business representatives at the site.
Key Responsibilities
• Plant visits (Uddevalla & Borås) to understand concerns and opportunities.
• Continuous dialog with Key Users and business related to the stability of the solution and requirements moving forward.
• Prioritize changes and defect corrections together with the Key User Forum.
• Plan and coordinate when changes and defect corrections should/needs to be in place in production.
• Develop and refine the current support structure.
• Secure solution competence for functional application support.
• Plan, inform, co-ordinate, distribute, implement and monitor the team's (3: d parties) activities on regular basis to create an efficient work distribution and service delivery.
• Ensure execution, follow up and report on agreed performance indicators and targets.
• Manage deliveries according to agreed estimations on cost, time and quality.
• Secure a professional relationship with other stakeholders within the delivery organization, to ensure an efficient End-To-End-delivery.
• Support DM/SPDM in the dialog with the BSPM
• Contribute to SLA establishment
• Participate in roll-outs/implementation projects
• Participate and set requirements for handover from project to maintenance
• Support in managing Application life cycle (update GAP, inputs for YP, decommission etc.)

Qualifications
• Relevant university degree
• Relevant leadership experience
• Strong experience from working in an IT delivery organization including solid knowledge about methods used
• Experience from working in a global context
• Good communication & presentation skills are a requirement
• Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
• Domain knowledge in production processes will be considered an advantage
• Knowledge about the Volvo Bus will be considered an advantage
• Knowledge about ERP systems will considered an advantage
