hela Sverige PURPOSE OF THE JOB
As a software railway signaling engineer, you will configure the software of interlocking systems with high requirements on safety, availability and maintainability. These systems, configured specifically for each site using proprietary tools constitute the core part of very important and challenging customer projects. Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to the shaping of the railway industry's exciting future.
IN YOUR ROLE YOU WILL:
• Configure the software and produce documentation of interlocking systems
• Perform reviews of the software configuration
• Follow applicable internal and external rules and regulations
• Perform first-level testing of configuration in simulated environment
• Deliver your work on time with required quality
• Participate in continuous refinement of the group's work processes and ways of working
• Act as support to installation, test and commissioning during construction of system
• Participate in bid estimation work for new potential contracts
QUALIFICATIONS OF OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Bachelor's or Technical School in a relevant engineering field
• Knowledge of railway regulations is desirable
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux and scripting is desirable
• Fluent English and Swedish are mandatory
• Willing to travel up to 5 % per year
