Do you care about code and do you have a genuine interest in software development? Then you could be our new colleague at Guideline Geo's development team in Malå, Umeå or Stockholm.
Responsibilities:
As a developer in this team you will be challenged with a wide range of tasks, ranging from understanding customer requirements, design, implementation, and writing tests. You will be part of a team that that takes full responsibility for its solutions which includes both working on continuously improving existing and new innovations. We believe that the best solutions are built if you can be proud of what you produce. By working close together with the product owner you will get a deep understanding of market needs. In production rollouts you will get a chance to work directly with customers.
We will offer you the challenge to work with skilled colleagues and both learn the geophysical business and creating advanced technical solutions.
The development team consists of 10 people placed in Malå, Umeå, Stockholm and Charleston, US.
Your profile and background:
• M Sc. In Computer Science, Engineering Physics or similar degree.
• Several years of experience in system development.
• Experience in development for embedded systems
• Knowledge in C and C++ is a requirement.
• Experience of FPGA programming or VHDL/Verilog is an advantage
• Good skills in English
