In the Core Product Platform team you will play a very important role using all your engineering abilities, working with state-of-the-art HW and tools, to create and form our leading technology.
Your responsibilities:
• Be a key player in the development process of our technology platform.
• Experimenting and develop new functionality to enhance our technology portfolio as well as looking ahead and be part of the specifications for coming platforms and products.
• Investigate and develop different aspects of our video processing frameworks starting from the sensor backend, via imaging, scaling and video processing.
• Use your great engineering knowledge to create, optimize and tune the quality and performance in current and future platforms.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You are a highly motivated and highly talented Linux engineer with knowledge of kernel internals, device drivers & low-level SoC programming. We are looking for a person that never gives up independently of how complex problem you face. The new SoC platforms always reach our group at technologies first so you will often take part in very thrilling and intensive platform bringups.
You are a gifted and energetic person with the ability to work unsupervised. You are humble, open minded, eager and willing to learn. You always take full responsibility and as teamwork is crucial for us it's important that you can contribute with good spirit and welcomes Agile methodologies used in our projects.
You have a Master's degree in computer science, physics, electrical engineering or similar and are a dedicated individual with a strong personal drive.
Your English is fluent, both written and verbal.
THE CORE PRODUCT PLATFORM TEAM
You will be working in a strong team consisting of very experienced and dedicated engineers. The team is working both closely to the latest products and has the long term responsibility regarding core SW platform and Linux kernel/device driver agenda.
Our team takes great pride in being a creative and experimenting. Your ideas and actions do matter. The typical employee in the team works in roles such as software engineer, technical lead or technical expert.
