Purpose, Offer and Benefits
Ecdesign is a Swedish 3D interior design software developed by Ecdesign Sweden AB. The vision was to create a software which would allow people in sales to quickly plan and visualize a space in 3D without having to use complicated CAD tools.
Ecdesign was first introduced to the automotive aftermarket industry and it did not take long before industry leaders began to implement Ecdesign in the repair shop design process. In 2007 Ecdesign was first introduced to the commercial fitness industry and in 2009 Ecdesign was recognized as the new industry standard with over 65 leading fitness equipment manufacturers adding their 3D models to the software.
Today Ecdesign is the leading 3D floor planner software used all over the world to plan and visualize repair shops, fitness clubs, offices, retail stores and factories. More than 10 000 companies and organizations in over 115 countries now use Ecdesign. In 2021 Ecdesign was used to create over 3 million layouts and its popularity continue to grow rapidly as more organizations discover the benefits of 3D space planning in the sales process.
Your Responsibilities
In this role you will work in a small development team together with skilled peers. You will get challenged by tough and fun programming problems, mostly in C++, and take your skills to the next level.
* Programming in C++
* Continuous review, improvement and formal release of software updates in line with requirements throughout the product development.
The Bigger Picture
This is a full time employment. The head office is located in Örebro but the job is remote-hybrid.
You will join a competent team consisting of 8.
Our Expectations
We are looking for someone with:
* Experience in C++ or other low level language
* Experience with 3D APIs and shader development
* Used to applications development with testing and deplyment
* Fluent in Swedish or English
