Role Summary/Purpose
GE is searching for a highly motivated, structured, and energetic sales manager to work collaboratively with his/her assigned software channel partners in the Benelux and Scandinavia to drive aggressive growth across the GE software portfolio
Essential Responsibilities
• Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas and operating targets across all assigned partners within territory.
• Manage collaborative relationships with assigned channel partner principals/owners and software sales teams.
• Drive quarterly business planning sessions, along with standing monthly reviews, to ensure goals alignment and pipeline transparency, with mutual actions in place to exceed targets/objectives.
• Rationalize channel partner performance against contract terms (compliance) as well as market & competitive dynamics within territory; performance manage where needed and identify new partner alternatives to replace non-performers.
• Liaise across all business functions to enable channel partners to generate demand, identify new customers, and build a robust 15-month rolling pipeline of new software opportunities.
• Serve as trusted advisor for your partner ecosystem; facilitate timely access to information / training / people, coach partner teams on sales process / techniques, complement partner teams in enterprise deal presentations / negotiations, etc.
• Rigorous tracking & forecasting of all partner sales opportunities in GE's CRM of record (SFDC) across a rolling 12-month timeline.
• Demonstrate cross-functional leadership & collaboration with GE's direct sellers, sharing information and ensuring coordination of activities in joint sales pursuits.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years sales experience, with demonstrated expertise in channel management or formal solution selling, in the areas of plant floor automation and manufacturing software solutions.
• Technical degree or equivalent Experience
• Able and willing to travel up to 50%.
