We are looking for a Software Application Developer to be based out of Gothenburg, Sweden within the Implementation department. As a Software Application Developer working with the world's leading airlines, you will be based in our Gothenburg office and may be expected to travel to our customers in the assigned region to support customers' needs around requirements and to deploy software on-site. We value diversity and learn from each other to support customer needs through successful product delivery.
Position Responsibilities:
understanding the customer's needs
capturing requirements, customizing and configuring the software, continuously integrating with an extensive infrastructure
managing component dependencies
maintaining existing client code base
verifying quality and testing
For this position it is vital that you are passionate about learning the Airline business and that you see yourself contributing in workshops and communicating with different stakeholders as part of the requirements gathering process. Within the office, we work according to Scrum and SAFE.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Ability to speak and write English fluently
Completed the 10 month EYW 3.0 trainee program within Boeing
Preferred competencies:
Experience working within a scrum team or in similar agile project setup such as SAFe
Programming experience
Experienced with Unix / Linux environment
Python, Shell scripting, SQL, Web development, Java, functional programming
Airline Crew Management and Jeppesen Crew product customization experience
