We're seeking a creative and strategic individual to enhance our social media presence, working across both paid and organic channels to amplify our message. In this role, you'll be part of a collaborative team, working closely with our Social Media Lead to craft a unified approach that combines organic content with paid strategies for maximum impact.
As a Social Media Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our social media efforts, whether it's through managing paid campaigns or growing our organic reach. You'll have the opportunity to work with various social platforms, helping us develop engaging content, optimize performance, and ensure a seamless experience for our travelling audience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and Implement Social Media Strategies: Craft and execute comprehensive social media strategies, whether focusing on organic growth or paid campaigns, across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others.
• Campaign Management: Plan, launch, and optimize both paid and organic social media campaigns to drive engagement, increase visibility, and achieve key performance metrics.
• Creative Collaboration: Partner with the creative team to guide the development of visually compelling content and campaigns that captivate our audience and drive conversions.
• Audience Engagement & Targeting: Identify and engage target audiences through organic content strategies or advanced paid targeting techniques, such as lookalike audiences and retargeting.
• Performance Analysis & Optimization: Analyze the performance of social media efforts-both paid and organic-using tools like Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and other platforms, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Budget & Resource Management: (For paid roles) Manage and allocate campaign budgets to maximize efficiency and ensure impactful results, while keeping a close eye on organic performance trends.
• Trend Spotting: Stay informed of the latest trends, tools, and opportunities in the social media landscape, ensuring our strategy remains fresh and forward-thinking.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our social media efforts, both organic and paid, align with broader marketing goals and create a seamless customer journey.
• Reporting & Insights: Present performance insights and actionable recommendations to key stakeholders, contributing to future social media strategies.
To succeed in this role, we believe you should have:
• A true passion for social media, both paid and organic.
• A bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, communication, or a related field.
• 2 years' experience working with social media strategies-whether organic, paid, or a combination of both.
• Experience using social media platforms and tools such as Meta Ads Manager, Snapchat Ads, TikTok Ads, and Google Analytics. Familiarity with the Google Marketing Platform is a plus.
• A structured approach to managing projects and the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
• A proactive and curious mindset, eager to take on new challenges.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A Scandinavian language is a bonus.
