The candidate should have a broad knowledge of the common Windows operating systems and applications, and should preferably have some Macintosh skills as well. Being practiced with the hardware aspect of desktops and laptops is desired. Excellent customer service and communication skills are a must for this position.
A Typical Day in the Life of a Site Engineer
• Making sure our people have functioning equipment and accounts, their tools to work
• Checking the ticketing system for urgent issues and requests
• Answering incoming support escalations, phone calls, chat and emails
• Dealing with drop in callers to the Site Engineer Desk
• Personal development and training
• Communicating to the business on IT related information
• Generating, updating and maintaining support documentation to include both an internal and external knowledgebase
• Application deployment and client imaging (MDT and SCCM)
• Purchasing new hardware and licenses
• Monitoring production systems
• Create, follow and improve standard processes and best-practices

The IT Team in Jeppesen Gothenburg consists of 12 high performing team members including 2 Site System Engineers. We are looking for a third to join us as an employee to support a rapidly growing office of over 350 people, as well as multiple remote offices around the globe
